Is the festival cost based on room occupancy?
Yes. The festival fee is priced per participant and is based on your group’s room occupancy. All rates include festival participation, hotel lodging, and the included meals.
What are the hotel accommodations?
All guests will stay in elegantly appointed 500-square-foot, two-room suites at the Sheraton Suites Akron Cuyahoga Falls. Each suite includes:

How can a room fit five or six participants?
Each room is an elegantly appointed 2-room suite. The suite accommodates up to six guests with two participants in each double bed and two participants on the queen-size pull-out sofa.

One director attends free with every group of 20 or more paid participants.
What meals are included?
The festival registration includes:

A Featured Experience for Every Choir
One of the most distinctive aspects of the Invention City International Choral Festival is that every participating choir is showcased as an individual ensemble during two special festival performances.
Finale Concert at Historic St. Bernard Catholic Church
Each choir will perform two selections during the finale concert at Historic St. Bernard Catholic Church, an acoustically inspiring venue that highlights the unique artistry of every ensemble.
Welcome Concert at the Amphitheater
Choirs will also be featured during the Welcome Concert, presenting a less formal / a cappella selection in a festive outdoor setting with the Cuyahoga Falls as a stunning backdrop. This opening celebration creates an exciting opportunity for ensembles to introduce themselves and connect with singers from across the festival.
Sing in the Festival Choir
In addition to their featured performances, all participating singers will unite as one Festival Choir to prepare and perform four to five collaborative selections under the direction of Jim Papoulis.
A Newly Commissioned Work by Jim Papoulis
The festival will feature a newly commissioned composition by renowned composer Jim Papoulis.
Singers will have the extraordinary opportunity to learn and perform this new work under Jim Papoulis’s direction, gaining insight and inspiration from one of today’s most celebrated voices in choral music.
