DRAFT ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Friday morning flight , TBD
ARRIVAL IN NEW YORK CITY Lunch (On own) Orientation 1PM at hotel ORIENTATION SESSION MEET YOUR CONDUCTOR This afternoon, you’ll meet up with your conductor and get started with your first rehearsal! SCS staff will check in to Midtown Manhattan hotel after 4pm, likely during rehearsal. Dinner (included) BROADWAY SHOW DAY 2 REHEARSALS Breakfast (included) Start rehearsing with your renowned conductor. Your conductor will work to perfect the music for the big performance at Carnegie Hall. Students will bond with peers from across the nation while working to sing in harmony. DAY 3
Breakfast (included) SIGHTSEEING Lunch (included) REHEARSAL Students work together to put on the final touches for the big show. You’ll even do a sound check at Carnegie Hall. Dinner (included) PERFORMANCE AT CARNEGIE HALL Show time! Step onto the stage in the main hall, the Isaac Stern Auditorium/Ronald O. Perelman Stage, for the big performance at Carnegie Hall! Financial Considerations
The total cost per singer for this tour is $1,750, which includes:
- Hotel accommodations
- Ground transportation in NYC
- Meals
- Festival rehearsals and Carnegie Hall performance
- +Activities: Broadway show, Top of the Rock and a tour of Radio City Music Hall!
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
- May 30, 2025 $250 - Deposit, non-refundable
- September 30, 2025: $675
- November 30, 2025: $675
- January 30, 2025: $150
*This cost does not include transportation to and from New York City. Families may choose to drive or make their own travel arrangements.
As in previous tours, SCS will offer a group flight option for those who prefer to travel by air with the choir.
Currently, the estimated round-trip airfare from CLE to JFK is $165.
Airlines do not book group travel this far in advance so final details for this option will be determined in the fall.
CANCELATION SCHEDULE
- Cancel between June 1 and Nov 10 = $250 non-refundable deposit
- Cancel between Nov 11 and Dec 10 =$250 non-refundable deposit plus $150 and any non-refundable fees
- Cancel between Dec 11 and Jan 5 = $250 non-refundable deposit plus $550 and any non-refundable fees
- Cancel after Jan 6 = no refund
